The Bormian land is largely into the boundaries of the Stelvio's National Park , one of the biggest protected areas in Europe . Its principal characteristic is the presence of many woods and the undergrowth show a very valuable flora where the boletus detaches.

The region offers a perfect habitat for the typical alpine fauna, represented by bucks, roe-deer, chamoises and about 200 ibexes which found a favourable environment in the near Zebrů Valley .
